AIA Phoenix Metro is fortunate to have two Foundations connected with the chapter.   The Central Arizona Architectural Foundation, formed by the Central Arizona Chapter; and the Rio Salado Architectural Foundation, formed by the Rio Salado Chapter.  Each Foundation is unique in structure and content, but both serve the same purpose … To unite in fellowship the members of the architectural profession; to promote the aesthetic, scientific and practical efficient of the profession; to advance the science and art of planning and building by advancing the standards of architectural education, training and practice; to coordinate the building industry and the profession of architecture to insure the advancement of the living standards of people through their improved environment; and to make the profession an ever-increasing service to society.
